I made my first filled Krapfen in February. Was simpler than I thought.

Not as fluffy as the ones you can buy, but not bad. The filling was difficult, I constructed a fill bag from a plastic bag, tape and a straw … Imagine how that went. I got more or less filling in there but I need a better tool next time.

I froze the surplus and defrosted in the oven when needed.
