We are sleepwalking into authoritarian state, at least.
Everybody should be concerned about the government’s efforts to grant themselves the power to shut down any protest movement at will and criminalize the participants. Losing the right to protest is not something that only affects left wing people, this kind of extreme authoritarian legislation will impact all of us and will fundamentally change the kind of society that we live in.

This is the kind of shit that SHOULD be causing riots, but the british public has become so fucking apathetic to all this shit. Corruption runs rampant and all most of us say “oh that’s awful, I wish they’d stop”.
After a certain point, it’s just as much our fault for letting it happen.
