What does the article say?
The SPOED department is getting overwhelmed by the usual patients, also drunk people and on top of that unvaccinated people with covid symptoms that don’t even belong there.
What’s up with the booster shot?
They are already losing staff because of exhaustion and covid infections so they want their staff to be protected with a booster shot.
Does this relate to the screenshot on the right about the ICU patients with covid?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. Spoed, corona and ICU are 3 different parts of the hospital. Spoed includes (for example) traffic accidents, stab and gunshot wounds, etc. Corona: hospital admissions because of covid but not life threatening. ICU: intensive care, which can include (intubated) covid patients.
