  1. Finish work soon and I was gonna to go home and go for a bike ride for a couple of hours but it’s still too windy so it’ll be the exercise bike for a bit. No worries though, I’ll go tomorrow instead. A bit of food shopping afterwards and then I’ll have a bit of a kip as I’m back in tonight. Apart from the wind it looks like it’s going to be a nice day so enjoy my friends.

  2. Pork shoulder into the slow cooker, climbing with the kids then off to the garden centre to get some veg plants for my sad empty planter. Absolute dadlife.
Also obsessively print more things on my new 3d printer all day.

  3. I woke up early for the Japanese GP – which I’m beginning to regret. I’m on my second coffee and have had some tasty eggs though, so not all bad.

Hoping to go for a run today. Its been too long since I’ve done that and I’m not sure why. I’m usually quite into it but I’ve been in a right slump lately!

Once in back from that I’m going to rebuild my greenhouse. It was a victim of Kathleen.

  4. Oh, you know, just the usual Sunday activities: binge-watching a new show, contemplating doing some laundry (but probably not), and deciding whether to order takeout for the third day in a row.

  5. Wash clothes at home, take them to laundrette to dry. Find a moment of peace for myself today after an intensely irritating day with in laws yesterday, otherwise I may explode.

  6. *shuffles in amongst all the cyclists and climbers*

Had my weekly lie in, to do – housework, letting friend’s dogs out and then a trip to the furniture shop to eye up recliners as I’m getting old now and everything hurts.

  7. I’m hoping to reseed the lawn after all the prep, was hoping to do it yesterday but it was too windy, it would have gone everywhere. Later picking up a garden storage box, delivery charge was a bit steep – hoping it fits in the car, then put it together and then have somewhere to store garden stuff.

  8. Eggs for breakfast, take the kids to gymnastics, then a choice of two uses for our clubcard vouchers… Pizza Express vs Kung Fu Panda 4 in the cinema. I know which way my vote will go (calzones all the way).

  9. Was hoping to sit out on a bench and have a read of my book while waiting for Iceland to open, but I don’t know what the weather’s saying. Then a bit of a tidy and maybe give the kitchen a lick of paint.

  10. Promised the kiddos a d and d game today so I’ll be setting that up later on. Also need to do their living room disco – their aunt is getting married in a few weeks and while they are now well versed in the macarena and sweet Caroline, they dont yet know the cha cha slide, so this obviously needs resolving before the wedding.

I also need to look through the fridge and freezer (and potentially pop to the shop) as I don’t really know what I’m cooking today. Needs to be something easy to eat one handed, as once the kids are in bed we have our own d and d game tonight and usually have burgers or similar on game night- however, we’ve already had burgers this week! So will have to put my thinking cap on!

  11. Football at 1, then a bunch of flat viewings. Didn’t sleep well last night so wondering wether to go back to sleep now and wake up late, or grind through the tired and get some stuff done this morning.

  12. Aiming to spend the day in the garden. Beds to weed/clear from last year and need to finalise my veg plot ready for this year’s crops.

  13. I’ve spent the past 2 hours trying to figure out how Webex works, and I am throughly convinced whoever made it is on Satan’s payroll. I’ll be spending the morning on a family call about legal crap, then I’ll be off to get some shopping done. I’ve been invited by my neighbours for dinner, so I’m looking forward to that.

  14. I want to get to church today, but I’m aching from 8miles of walking yesterday and like many I have a lingering cough from a long cold I’m recovering from. So not sure. Regardless, I’ll be doing some gardening and reading today, so that’s nice.

  15. I told myself I’d weed the front garden and/or go to the gym, but I slept miserably because my cats decided to re-enact Wrestlemania on the bed at 3am and 7am. Thinking it might just be a sofa day.

  16. Going to work. My fault though, I’ve been putting it off since Friday.

  17. Oh my sweet summer child there is no lazy Sunday when you have kids. We’re off to LEGOLAND to try to survive the school holidays

  18. Taking the dog for a walk. Up in 10 minutes. It’s his birthday today, (he’s 1) so I made him some doggy cupcakes. The ‘icing’ made of beetroot powder made my kitchen look like a massacre had happened!

  19. Was meant to be driving 2 hours to see the in-laws but I’m 3rd trimester pregnant and got diagnosed with a bladder infection yesterday so sod that, I’m staying in bed.

  20. We’ve got a giant list of jobs that need doing and both have adhd, so we’ve asked for help from the in laws to come and get some ticked off today.

I think the main ones on the list are painting the kitchen and bathroon…

  21. Sunday is a work day for me, I have two of my own papers to edit and another two to review for someone else so it’s a busy one. I could have probably done with working yesterday too but family things took over.

I cannot wait for my youngest to be at preschool so I can at least do some work during the week – at the moment doing childcare all day and then working evenings and weekends is not fun!

  22. Going to pop to Makro to get some bulk items. After that, a nice walk, maybe a Sunday roast and putting a wash on.

  23. Start a new job tomorrow so plan my lessons for the day and try to get ahead. Finish ironing, change the water in the fish tank, meal prep and take the kids swimming. All while hoping the Mrs wakes up soon and tidies the kitchen. Hate busy Sundays but there we go

  24. Supposed to be tackling the knee-high grass in the back garden with my new strimmer. But before that I need to check it for dog turds I’ve missed because it’s so fucking long and smallest, dickhead doggo likes to go have a shit in random places when I’m not watching him just to fuck with me. And *not* checking for dog-eggs before strimming is a horrible mistake I’ve made before. And my hayfever is kicking my arse and we have the walking germ warfare factories over yesterday (aka grandkids) so I’m pretty sure I have bubonic plague or something.

  25. Going to drive to Devon to spend the afternoon with my father in law, he had a fall and broke a couple of ribs a few weeks ago. (This isnt our first visit since). Just seeing how he’s doing.

  26. I’ve had the week off, which has been lovely. It was the perfect mix of chilled but busy every day. I’m feeling anxious about returning to work tomorrow. I’m taking my puppy to my parent’s house this afternoon then meeting my friend for a roast.

  27. Well, let me tell you, my epic plans for today include binge-watching my favorite show, eating way too much junk food, and possibly taking a nap that lasts longer than it should.

  28. Connecting my better half from the airport later, then lunch at the neighbours and then maybe an afternoon/evening of laziness

  29. Poorly house tiger finally went to the bathroom this morning, finally after 3 days, hurrah! She’s also gobbled up her breakfast so we may have turned a corner. It’s sadly a long term illness but i’m grateful for today with her. Dissertation for Uni is the priority & a walk with friends later. Onwards and up, kettles on. Happy Sunday!

  30. Visiting my mum who’s just moved back into her house after a year due to a fire

    So far on the list

Change all the light switches to ones she likes

    Set up her firestick

Set up the PC in the dining room and download all her games

Have a look at her Tablet because it’s running slow

Find out why the toilets leaking

Swap the wardrobe and drawers round up stair to then setup a TV in the spare room

Find the cables for the soundbar and her stereo and set them up

And no doubt a million other things she hasn’t remembered yet

    Nothing like a lazy Sunday

  31. I’ve got my dad staying with me as my Mum has recently passed away last Monday so we are going to do some tinkering on some bike parts together in the garage to take his mind off things.

I’m also trying to take my mind off having to speak to work again about it all tomorrow as I definitely don’t feel ready to go back to work yet but I also have no idea what is happening with everything so I’m just doing things to take my mind off it all and take every day as it comes!

Then me and my partner have the dreaded weekly aldi shop later to tackle 😂

  32. My partner is off trying wedding suits for today! My job is to relax in the bath and read my book. Maybe go for a walk

  33. gym in the morning, then tidy the flat and chill out with my cat

  34. Just finished a run of nightshifts, made it home just in time to watch the grand prix and now of to bed for a solid 12 hours or so of sleep.

  35. Wanted to finish gardening but it’s abit wet.
So gonna get up go for a run and a gym as I try and get back into shape
Then hopefully it’ll be dry enough to do abit
Play some Mario on the Wii with wife and daughter
    Meal prep
How much of that’ll happen I don’t know

  36. There’s a dog walking group that I’m thinking of joining for the first time. I’m sat pondering which of my dogs is the least of a dickhead to take with me whilst I sip a cup of tea in bed. Apart from that, I’m two loads of laundry away from being totally laundry free so there is genuine excitement for that milestone today, windy weather permitting.

  37. Early birthday celebrations! It’s my 19th birthday later this month but unfortunately not all my family will be in the country to celebrate on my actual birthday, so we’re doing it today instead.

  38. Wash and charge the car, measure how much external network cable I have to move my fibre house entry point and keep the baby alive.

  39. I am determined to do more today than I did yesterday, which won’t be hard. There’s a farmer’s market on at the library that I might attempt a wander to, but I am concerned about the ow factor and the weather.

Need to fire up the app that gives me little presents for achieving tiny goals. It’s like a sticker chart for grownups, as long as I don’t cheat. The flat could use a good clean-up if nothing else.

  40. Apex to get my brain working, wander outside for acquisitions, house jobs, food, evening time, Monday dread.
