A traditional yeast cake in Carinthia, Austria that is filled with sugar, cinnamon and raisins. It's typically (but not only) eaten during the Easter festivities.

  1. Looks really tasty! Is it like rolled up and then placed in the baking form? It looks like it has a swirl. Maybe just coincidence.

  2. That’s a really tasty looking Reindling! I love it when it has lots of raisins.

I make mine with a bit of carob powder along with the sugar (brown and white) and cinnamon. And I usually soak the raisins in rum(and a bit of water) for at least a few days.
