Hey r/Luxembourg,
I've recently made the decision to start biking around the city, as a way to get some exercise and reduce my carbon footprint. I've purchased a bike, nothing too fancy, just a reliable set of wheels to get me from point A to point B.
However, I've hit a bit of a snag—I live in Belair and I'm struggling to find a secure place to park my bike, especially overnight. Ideally, I'm looking for somewhere covered to shield it from the rain, and of course, it would be great if it were free of charge.
I've checked out the city's official website, specifically the page on cycling routes and parking spots (https://www.vdl.lu/fr/se-deplacer/a-velo-ou-a-pied/itineraires-et-emplacements-pour-velos), and it seems there are some spots near the stadium. But I'm not sure if they're free to use or not.
So, I turn to you, fellow Luxembourgers, for advice. Do any of you know of any safe and preferably free spots to park my bike in Belair, either covered or not? Or perhaps there's another solution I haven't considered?
Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for your help.
