Pretty much analogous with the journey from socialism to wishy washy Starmerism to thinking ‘isn’t Rishi Sunak a lovely young man?’.
If a major spokesperson for my company was locked in a legal battle where he was overwhelmingly likely to be found to be a pedophile and his defense was this terrible, he’d have been sacked months go.
This is the opposite of decisive. It’s too little too late.
