1. “Scotland Yard said officers believe they know who the man is and are working to inform his next of kin.”

   Is it normal to report on killings before the next of kin has been informed? Just causes possible undue panic for families thinking it could be their loved one

2. I misread this as ‘man stabbed to death makes statement’…

3. Why are journalists using « as » now? It means « at the same time » or « because ». If they want to save space, what’s wrong with a colon : ?

4. it’s at 5 in the morning so completely unrelated to the club or football so may as well said the post code rather than the stadium it is just sensationalising.

5. I work at the away end. Right near the incident. You’d be surprised what the fans were like about it. Absolute bunch of morons crying because they couldn’t go that way. No respect for the dead
