  1. I googled what is AIA and it says it’s Anti imperialist Action.

  2. Stop British rule… Written in the language of the “oppressors”… If you are really that anti British, use Irish ya plonker!

  3. Bunch of clowns is what they are. A member of that group told me once a few years ago that the soviet unions gulags were a myth and the Ukrainian famines never happened. Apparently it was all western propaganda

  4. Thanks for the context. They only have 5k followers on the gram, if they don’t go on love island or mafs we’re safe

  5. They’re similar to the people’s front of Judea or was it the Judean people’s front… ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)

  6. A group of anti Western extremists. When the October 7th massacre occurred, they not only praised it, they called for a similar action in Northern Ireland.

  7. Bet they are third level tossers or otherwise unemployed. No one working for a living has time for this sort of thing.

  8. If they’re “resisting British” why are they using their language?

  9. these people are graffitying all over galway city on old walls in the city at a cost to the council to clean up its pure scumbaggery

  10. Anglo-Irish Agreement.

Dunno if they are the 1938 or the 1985 branch. In fairness, not enough room on the sign.

  11. It’s the Artificial Intelligence Authority It’s just an AI that got out of control and people now worship it.

  12. Ah great. Exactly what the Left need. Another splinter party. That must make it 10+ at this point.

  13. Rubber Republican shite. A half assed socialist movement that should have died out in the 20’s. It’s embarrassing and ridiculous that there is still hatred harboured to the other side. What happened, happened it can’t be taken back. Britain isn’t an empire anymore it’s barely even a union. A United Ireland will not be achieved by force.

The arrogance that some are even moping around without even considering that they might not even want to join up. Let’s be honest the way things are done here in the republic doesn’t exactly make for a good advertisement for unification. Ironically enough our national security depends solely on the British military to protect our skies and seas and god forbid a land invasion the Royal army needs to be used.

  14. Association of Irish Architects. They want to kick the British out of Dublin Castle, and install an extensive neon-lit lightbox on the roof as a bold statement they saw once in London (but never understood)

  15. So would these lads hold to the socialist principles of the Second International, and the overthrow of our bourgeois comprador government and ruling class followed by the establishment of soviet-style workers’ government or are they more of an
    anarcho syndicate commune?

I want to be sure that it’s just the right ideological niche for me, and once I attained supreme leadership of the revolutionary vanguard, unmercifuly purge those who dare to deviate from ideological purity.

  16. Not so much a “what” but a “whom.” It’s basically a handful (at most) of republican dissident Maoists (but they probably contradict Maoism regularly because they’re not really intelligent enough to remain consistent ideologically). They seem to be based primarily in the east. They boast at most ten members with maybe five active. They have delusions of grandeur and blur their faces in photographs to imply they are more important than they are. If I remember rightly, they are the disgusting lowlifes that pulled down posters of the hostages taken by Hamas.

There’s a lovely word in Ireland that suits them perfectly: gobshites.

  17. God the next elections will be interesting with all these new parties

The “IF” – Ireland First (not to be confused with Irish Farmers)

The “TIP” – The Irish People (not just Tipperary people)

The “TFA” – The Farmers Alliance Party (which is actually farmers, but a pair of wellies and you’re in)

and now the “AIA” – Anti Imperialist Action not to be confused with AA although it could drive you to it

  18. In all fairness the pole in the middle of the sign fucks up the statement looks very disjointed, anyway Power To The People Brother

  19. Are they the People’s Front of Ireland or the Irish People’s Front?
