I wanted to watch this for years, and finally got a chance when it was put on iplayer recently. It was truely wonderful to watch and left me reflecting on my own life.
A very moving documentary….watched it a couple of years ago and felt very fortunate to have got a glimpse into his life, but felt a deep sadness that he would struggle to maintain it.
I had an uncle that lived in a similar way, he had demons he was hiding from and an underlying sadness.
He eventually died alone.
It was hard to watch this doc.
