How many games do we need to win from here on out to qualify for the Champions League considering the form of the others competing for the top 4 spots?

  2. simple maths, we need 14/21 points, assuming roma wins every game from now to end of the season, not sure about the tie breaker, so would say 15 points, so winning 5/7 games

  3. 21 points left but Roma and Bologna still have a game against each other so lets say 18 points left. We have 7 point lead and a game against Bologna and Roma left. So we need 4 wins out of the 7 games left. Shouldnt be a hard task anymore. Even tho we have been playing bad i dont believe we can really melt down that badly

  4. Watch Motta knock us out of top 4 then have the nerve to manage us next year lol

  5. We have tough matchups incoming, but Roma and Bologna as well. My bet is 2 more wins, plus draws against Roma and Bologna when we play them.

    Roma is facing Napoli and Bologna this month, so if they don’t win those we are already set for 4th place at least.

  6. We have two different scenarios:

    1. Italy keeps the fifth CL spot. If Atalanta wins the match against fiorentina they are 9 points behind. We still have 7 games so 21 points left – 9 points advantage we have = 12 points. We drawed both games but in Bergamo we played 0:0 and in Turin 2:2. So if I’m not wrong, we need to ween 5 games (or 4 wins and a draw or 3 wins and 4 draws) to be sure

    2. If Italy doesn’t keep the fifth spot. 21points – 7 points = 14 points. So we need 5 wins if Roma and bologna wins all.

    If just realized, we need 5 wins if Atalanta bologna and Roma win all games (which is not possible since Roma will play against Atalanta and bologna). Btw we also play against bologna, so it’s somehow also in our hands to not fuck up. Or it’s sure that we will be in CL next year, then we can let bologna win so that they reach the CL in exchange for Thiago Motta

  7. Roma, Milan, Atalanta all play in europe still. They have those games during next 2 weeks. Tough fixtures, Roma play Milan and Atalanta play Liverpool. Meanwhile we have all week off. We really dont have many excuses NOT to qualify at this stage imo.

  8. I doubt we won’t make champions league football, we suck but we don’t suck that much

    Even if allegri lost the dressing room (I actually think he hasn’t and he’s just inept to excite and unite players) there’s still appetite for champions league football

    Half our squad would abandon ship if a better team came knocking, players do care contrary to popular belief, just for different reasons
