1. > Overall, the number of crimes recorded in Germany rose to 5.94 million last year, an increase of 5.5% over 2023 and 9.3% higher than in 2019, before the pandemic.

   > The number of suspects arrested rose by 7.3% to 2.246 million and 41.3% of them did not have a German passport.

   > Among the people without German nationality who were charged, 402,514 were described as refugees, asylum seekers and those who entered the country illegally.

   Methinks Angela Merkel’s welcome mat might problematize her legacy.

4. Germany, Sweden, Finland, France, the UK, and the list goes on. All countries are recording highest levels of crime, and have one factor in common.

5. Isn’t the most obvious solution to just book them a one-way ticket back to their country of origin?

   Like sure, if you want to come back you can smuggle your way back, if we catch you we are booking another ticket back.

   Eventually you send the disruptive ones back and keep does who are positive impact on the community?

6. And Merkel was the praised as the Super woman of Europe.

   Meanwhile, she invited millions of immigrants that we don’t have any background for, made sure that Europe is dependant on Russian gas, instructed german police to not publish crimes committed by refugees (which mostly related to rapes of german women), and when the shit started to hit the fan, she just decided to quit politics. Germany has one of the dumbest politicians there is.

7. This sucks to hear.

   However, sooo many people, including myself warned that this would happen when you open borders without any controls/vetting.

8. The PKS figures hardly say anything about the actual development of crime in Germany. It is bizarre how they are over-interpreted year after year in the public debate. The PKS is a police activity report, nothing more. It simply records all suspicious situations that come to the attention of the police – usually through private reports. The statistics only reflect what the police can see and want to record.

9. And we all know why is that, yet saying it out loud will label us as racists or phobia towards certain religions.

11. I know this will gain me a lot of downvotes. But the comments make it so clear that nobody here actually read any official statistics.

    The offical and way more detailed statistics of the German BKA paint a very different picture. It’s not “immigrants”, the issue is more complicated but of course nobody here wants to hear that.

16. Happening in Australia as well. Immigrants from certain countries are statistically shown to be creating gangs & committing crimes of violence. Sudanese & Somalians, mainly. My understanding is that they feel resentment towards us because welfare benefits aren’t as generous as they would like. So, they burgle & steal & if it goes wrong they stab & kill.

17. So letting in millions of unskilled male economic migrants from culturally incompatible regions is… not going well? I’m absolutely stunned.
