  1. So, man city should get 115 x 2 = 230 points deduction. Is that at least 2 relegations?

  2. When they take points from everton and other clubs do they just transfer them over to City or…. The only way out of this for everton might be to do 115 plus some more….

  3. This is absolute bullshit. So unfair on Everton and indirectly affects the clubs they still have to face.

  4. What is that the English FA have against Everton? Why haven’t they done anything to Man City till now?

  5. When will people ever learn that the rich always get different treatment than the poor. There is no equally in the world just your delusion 🤣

  6. it’s pretty insane how they continue to deduct points from everton and won’t even touch City. i just don’t get how they can keep benefiting from this.

  7. Independent Commission against 115 breaches: We’ll see. Nothing has been decided and won’t be decided soon.

Independent commission against Everton: Deduct the damn points. This is blatant breaching of premier league rules.

  8. Even with the points deduction and poor run of form they look set to stay up although that could change if the performances dont improve.

Sorry I know we arent supposed to talk about Everton in threads about deducting points from Everton but think the city nonsense has been covered.

  9. Surely these should have all been withheld until the start of a season.

  10. Everton are insanely unlucky. They have not had much luck have they?

  11. Everton got a light punishment for their years of cheating

  12. Wow so all in all it’s better to not follow the rules and stay up and get a light “punishment” while the teams that followed the rules get relegated

  13. Again, these point deductions do nothing for the other teams who have faced Everton and lost.

Worse, they also do nothing for the state of the transfer market, which is already artificially inflated by middle eastern money pits and even more so by teams like Everton buying beyond their means. It means other teams are paying above the odds for journeymen, talismans, and youth – which brings those clubs closer to financial ruin.

The league and its sanctions are a joke.

  14. Brentford got punished more for Toney doing super sixes years ago while at other clubs, with no match fixing. than clubs got for actually cheating like this is the sport now haha

  15. I have no sympathy for Everton and forest with this.

I will only have sympathy if the rules change and city’s punishment is just a fine.

  16. It’s almost like they are trying so hard to wait it out until Man City has a proper blunder of a season to punish them or something so it doesn’t hurt them too much

  17. Two points is hardly a punishment , the minimum should be four points. As someone else noted, this doesn’t make teams fear breaking the rules.

All this says is that city will either get a light punishment or no punishment at all. Of course since they have more lawyers and more charges it’ll take longer but we all now what’ll happen.

  18. Very similar breach to the last one. First one is 10 points reduced to 6, this one is 2. Where is the logic exactly? PL are an absolute joke. Almost as if these deductions are just the perfect amount to keep Everton and Forest in the PL, which a cynic may suggest…

  19. Holy fuck this circus is out of control. Abolishing point deductions one day, then docking fucking Everton 2 fucking points the next day. Why did the people in charge of this shit even get out of bed? Fucking useless cunts: GO AFTER CITY YOU STUPID PRICKS

  20. never fear everton we’ll give you those two points back next monday

  21. I’ve said it before. Points deductions should only be applied once everything had been concluded (including appeals). It should only then apply at the start of the following season. We are in the back end of the season now and things like this happening is not fair for Everton. And if they appeal and get it reduced again, then it’s not fair on the teams around them.

Heaven forbid Everton go down by 1 point and this gets appealed and revoked. The PL would then be liable for millions in a lawsuit by Everton all because they couldn’t wait for everything to be processed.
