  2. My young lad plays for a team in the same league as one of the Vauxhall Motors teams. I’m sure there are nice people associated with the club but from my personal experience they are absolute scum, players and parents alike. Teams have been forfeiting matches rather than go and play them. The league promised us observers and for the match and fan behaviour to be audio and video recorded for us to go play them at their ground. Parents threatening our players, our fans, encouraging their players to assault us. Other clubs have experienced the same aggressive behaviour we have. Absolute vile they were. Horrible club. Horrible fans. Horrible players. Deserve every bit of misfortune.

  3. Parents wouldn’t pay for their own kids to go on holiday and play their sport despite having months to save. They squeezed local companies and individuals for cash instead. 38 year old team manager/member stole the cash from the community instead of paying for the football holiday. Apparently the whole team and everyone associated with it are scumbags.

    Are we really meant to care about these feral humans?

    I’m glad they’ve already raised 8k in 24 hrs, I’m guessing this trip is off though.

  6. Some absolutely godawful takes here that basically seem to amount to “apparently they’re all scumbags anyway so they probably deserved it”. 

    Generally, “kids have their £10k fund to go and play in a sports tournament in Spain stolen” would have r/uk reaching for the donate button but it’s a football team so no, they’re all irredeemable “feral” kids based on the authority of an Internet comment from someone claiming to have come across the club.
