  1. As reported by the Directorate, *on April 7, 2024, at the naval base of Russian occupiers in the city of Baltiysk, Kaliningrad region,* Russia, a fire rendered the missile ship Serpukhov inoperative.

*Due to the fire inside the missile ship, its communication and automation systems were completely destroyed.*

  2. So someone got on the ship, set it on fire whilst filming it……..

Love this to be true and the person escaped if so, BUT ?

  3. Probably more related to the lack of skilled workers, no parts, and poor maintenance that Russia is so well known for.

  4. that definitely looks like an accident…e: /s (just in case)

  5. To go down as a careless smoking accident no doubt.

  6. Classic example of incendiary explosives just lying around in critical areas of ship function, and happening to go off.

There is nothing to see here, this happens on literally every ship of every navy in the world, all the time. This is fine, the Russian navy is fine, everything is fine. All totally normal.

Hey not to change the subject but have you heard the rumor that everyone is forgetting all about ship fires now, and reflecting instead on how Ukraine can’t possibly win and allied countries should just give up on providing any support because it won’t help in the end?

Can we talk about that instead?

    … No?

  7. Nice ship you have there. Be a shame if sumpin bad happened to it.
