8. Old animal conservation was about protecting animals but also understanding that there is a balance in nature that must be respected and knowing and acknowledging that humans are also part of the environment and must be factored in when protecting any species.
   Modern day animal conservation is treating humans as pests or viruses that need to be eliminated, treating wild animals that look nice as lovable pets, despite the absolute horror they will inflict on the human population around them, protecting animals despite the protection causing the animal to upset the balance of nature, then crying like a lil' bit*h about climate change and human interference, becoming emotioally unstable at the prospect of the reality of nature.
   This is why you see idiot level ignorance on social media, where commentators are shocked at the absolute violence in nature and don't get that their sanitised version of nature is a lie.
   Hunting is derided as evil, despite it actually helping conservation efforts.
   Making a profitable business using elephant hides and tusks is derided, despite the money going into helping the people keeping the elephants safe.
   Because imbeciles with no clue or understanding how conservatism should work, get invovled with no understanding of the reality of nature.
   It's still, to them, a naive child's understanding of nature.

14. 1. Every country has the right to do what they want. Botswana can hand out licences and any other country can ban the import of those trophies.
    2. Am a vegan however, if my family farm was in Botswana and my livelihood depended on it I would be getting a big gun to protect my family.
    3. Germany and the UK have some gumption. Given their track record on daily animal abuse in the millions. Germans love stuffing their faces with their cheap pork meat and should not be throwing stones in glass houses.

19. Distribute the elephant population around other african countries like Nigeria, Cameroon etc. that has its elepahnt population dying out. I am Nigerian and the president of botswana should discuss these problems with other african leaders so that they can manage it. It can be managed within africa.

    Also elephants are intelligent so some will choose transgenderism and change from one gender to the other.
