Retail offering bonuses to management based on revenue has to be one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. What’s management supposed to do, stand outside and wave people in? Ask them do they want 5 sausages with their 20 Euro diesel?

What a scumbag. Unfortunately retail is a magnet for these sorts. Did my time in retail, looking back it felt like a prison sentence dealing with some of those so called managers. They undermine the value of a suit!

I’m more suprised the poor bastard didn’t notice any money going into his account within those 16 weeks.
I worked for a bunch of bast*rds and would go regularly without getting paid for 1 – 2weeks, ( they paid by check )
when the worst of the recession hit, I wasn’t paid for a month.
The company I worked for was a small family run business, but they believed that you belonged to them, and could threat you as they pleased, I had arguments with them weekly, and the fuckers would turn around and say “your lucky to have a job” .
Handing in my notice to them and seeing the look on their face was great, it was was a look of ” we decide who leaves, what do you mean your leaving”.
Anyway hope that woman gets all she deserves and more , that slithering prick of a manager, remindes me of the type of cunts I worked for.
i bet it goes deeper than the manage all applegreen stations need to be audited and 100,000 euro fine given
