  1. Well then China stop threatening your neighbors like a raging toddler.

  2. Why? Japan already has the best defense pact in the world.

They have a unique treaty with the US that states “an attack on one country is considered an attack on the other”.
If you attack Japan you also attack the US.

  3. “Move ‘disregards the risk of nuclear proliferation’ and would ‘intensify the arms race’ in the region.”

Right, because building up your nuclear arsenal to threaten surrounding nations to surrender their lands hasn’t already done that.

Everything China is doing in the region is necessitating a larger, united Indo-Pacific alliance.

  4. The “don’t provoke the hostile superpower” stance has proven ineffective and if China doesn’t like it, Xi should go complain to his buddy Putin who realigned the western world’s defense posture.

  5. They should be grateful their good trading partners Canada and New Zealand aren’t involved

  6. Why be worried? Just don’t attack anybody in the group and it’s fine.

  7. All south east asia should align against China, if they want to survive the certain Chinese invasion/attack in the next 1-10 years.

  8. Thats how you know its the correct decision for them to join.

  9. Jaukus does look a lot more complete than aukus. Why not get them on board with us?

  10. China will start their own security pact with their buddies in Russia, North Korea, and Iran, and call it Chrunki

  11. Would they be called Jaukus ? That sounds like J accuse

  12. Maybe China should stop making incursions in somebody else’s waters

  13. Why are all my neighbors banding together to defend themselves against me?

  14. Wouldn’t have much need to be concerned if china respected the international laws of the sea or countries economic zones.

Maybe even refraining from building SAM sites on nations reefs and illegally fishing foreign waters.

Or arbitrarily drawing a line on the globe and saying, this is ours because we drew it.
