1. Surely not in public? I’d be suing their useless asses.

2. The staff are probably being pressured by management to speed things up, but she was entitled to a private search and the staff member should have given it to her.

3. I mean it’s airport security , the amount of people who can’t seem the fathom it’s the same checks every time and leave stuff in their pockets , belts on etc , it’s not as if anybody it should be a suprise 

4. She sounded like a complete drama queen on Liveline earlier. She said herself she spoke in a snarky tone to the staff member. I can see her being a Karen type.

5. Going by her interview on Liveline earlier – yes the staff member handled it badly and should have made it clear she could be checked in a private room, but the woman when questioned what it was called it ‘a beanbag’ only clarifying later that it was a breast prosthetic.
   Airport security (rightly) have no sense of humour. They have 10s of thousands coming through a day and have all their safety to consider while also trying to get people through as efficiently as possible to their flights.

6. There’s signs in several places saying you can request a private search. She seems like a frequent traveller. I appreciate the difficultly if she wasn’t aware, but she’s been setting off buzzers for 15 years.

8. Lucky you. I had a money clip which I never you. I just have a few bob and a card in my phone case and to give credit where its due everyone at the airport was nice except this one man. I couldn’t get over how ignorant he was

9. My kid has medical devices that cannot go through the scanners. Any time we’ve passed through security, we quietly mention it to someone and they’ve been fantastic to deal with. Incredibly kind and friendly and respectful. They were especially lovely the first time we flew and my kid was nervous, even though it was very busy and they were under pressure.

10. I have a prosthetic penis. I usually get it checked over privately when I go through security (it’s a three woman job) and they usually do it discreetly it sometimes fight over who gets to do it. Because it’s so massive girthy and way long
