  22. I’m assuming that every one realizes that these lawyers are not coming up with any new information or evidence of Cadet Bone Spurs innocence. All they can do is use legal tricks and stunts to try and delay the trial, until after the election.

    Even if it is held after the election, and the MAGA Messiah gets elected, it may make no difference as this is a New York State trial, not a federal trial. Trump, legally, cannot use DOJ to get out of it, nor pardon himself.

    He is just trying to run out the clock in hopes he becomes president and can then claim immunity.

    It is the system’s fault for allowing him to do it. Until someone actually penalizes him for doing this there is no reason to stop.

  24. Like, where are the guardrails concerning frivolous motions? Every lawyer should be cautioned to not risk their legal standing by engaging in unethical delaying tactics.

  25. Look, I know Trump and his lawyers are idiots but the strategy is simple: bog the courts down with useless attempts to sue or anything else and hope like hell that he wins the election. He knows they’re dumb. His lawyers know it’s dumb. Everyone else knows it’s dumb. But in this case it doesn’t necessarily need to succeed to buy Cheeto dick the time he wants.

  26. He wants a change of venue because he can’t get a fair trial in NY. The jury pool is tainted because he’s the one tainting it.

    He’s already teed up his classic excuses: conspiracy against him, not a fair trial, judge not impartial, if convicted it’s a political dirty trick. Just like how the election was stolen. It’s the system – the swamp is out to get him. Nevermind facts and evidence and votes!

    Don’t believe what the media (or the court or the electorate) tell you. I’ll tell you what to believe. And MAGA blindly obliges.
