One of the Fed people has said that the projected rate cuts were predicated on the Fed’s economical models, and that the economy hasn’t performed as the models predicted.
They just building in some uncertainty now so when they do cut rates they’ll get a nice pre-election pop in the market to show as evidence of Bidenomics working.
