Why does Wales continue to embarrass itself with this stuff.
this is a class issue nothing to do with race
The victimhood cosplay never ends.
Typical torygraph article. Quick to cause a false moral panic and then focus only on the negatives without even bothering to talk about the positives.
I think its good to recognise that a 4 day work week will impact some more then others. I.e hospitality sector workers etc. Which have a higher representation of BAME employees, are typically younger and higher proportion of women to men compared to the average workforce. They will unlikely benefit froma 4 day week introduction. And in some cases will have to work more to cover increased custom.
But the answer isn’t that were doing too much by proposing a 4 day work week for office workers . It’s that we’re clearly not doing enough for worker rights and conditions in other sectors. Theres also numerous benefits to hospitality sector.
I feel if we can create an economy where we have a 4:3 pattern workers in both sectors could receive a more balanced lifestyle
