"Americans annually spend more than $1 trillion on food. But that doesn’t count the cost of foodborne illnesses, diet-related health problems, poverty wages, and the environmental degradation caused by our industrial food system. According to a study by the Rockefeller Foundation, the true cost of the food we consume is three times higher than what we think it is."

  1. Grocery shopping just causes me so much anxiety. Prices are high and we don’t have good food regulations. Food doesn’t have to be unhealthy, but here we are filled with corn syrup when it’s added to almost everything. All food companies care about is how to get you addicted to their product.
