Is Switzerland’s Electric Vehicle Story A Preview For The Rest Of The Globe?

  1. It is fore sure a preview, but a very long term one.

It’s quite reasonable to assume that the EV’s are going to replace the ICE vehicles at growing rates in the western countries.
The Swiss automotive market is quite unique and it’s characteristics are not comparable with other countries.

As long as there are no entry level EV’s for the masses there won’t be any major changes on global level.

  2. Switzerland has lots of electric vehicles, and the great thing is, when I use them, I don’t even have to expend any effort on concentrating on driving. I quite like the Re460.

  3. It would be interesting to see how many people have Tesla exclusively. I would suspect that it’s easier to drive it around Switzerland cause you can get anywhere without recharging but a little problematic for a longer drive around Europe. I know there are many superchargers installed in many countries already, but small range is the only thing that still stops me from considering an EV over a hybrid.

  4. So the power plants need to burn more fuel to charge the cars, which in turn created new pollution with battery materials. To take care of the environment, we must first focus on finding clean electricity…

  5. So these geniuses whant to use a country where over half of new registered vehicles are leases as a preview for the rest of the globe? Makes sense! /s
