A boy sets a flag at a makeshift memorial for fallen Ukrainian soldiers at Independence Square in Kyiv

  1. Ukrainians are such strong people, who pay an unthinkable price for their freedom. They deserve it. Fellow Americans who do not appreciate that fact have a questionable (at best) moral compass. If only my countrymen who object to aiding Ukraine could see images like this on their news channel every day. I wish they had to personally explain to Ukrainian children who’s fathers will never return, why they prioritize supposed “corruption” over the lives of working class people fighting for their right to make their own choices.

  2. How I wish for Putin to sit in an armchair, no limbs, no tongue and tube-fed for the rest of his life – forced to watch Dora the Explorer every wake hour.

Also wish I could simply give this boy a hug…

  3. Neighbors have the same opinion. Let them fight their own war. Head buried in the sand.
