Flights to Ukraine are a huge cost for volunteers. Protect A Volunteer sponsors flights using donor airline miles, and we need more! Help highly qualified volunteers like this military officer veteran. “I’m not sure I would have been able to go without a donated flight…it makes a huge difference.”

This American former military officer was previously in Ukraine, where she served in a drone unit, volunteered as an instructor and did civilian evacs. After returning to the US, she got qualified in EMT, TCCC-CLS, and TCCC-MP. She was compelled to return to teach TCCC to Ukrainian soldiers and increase their odds of surviving battlefield injuries. In her own words, “I believe in Ukraine’s right to sovereignty and a world order that supports liberty and democracy.”

She will work with an organization teaching Ukrainian soldiers TCCC. She’s also bringing 70 lbs of badly needed medical supplies to a Ukrainian military unit and an organization that provides rehab for Ukrainian amputees.

Her trip would not have been possible without a flight donated by one of our generous airline mile donors.

Protect A Volunteer’s flights program connects qualified volunteers with donors who sponsor their flights. Donors can use their airline miles or pay for flights in cash. We match you directly with a volunteer and you book their flight for them. We need donors to continue this critical need. You can sign up to sponsor a flight at this [form](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdB7UfqhrlSgq_mXr73Y9m4NHvE6pZbwVbF3_c8e4lrisAV7g/viewform).

  2. Amazing what PAV does for us. Even more, what people from around the world are willing to do to support us. Can’t say enough how great it is with how much support we receive. PAV has facilitated many members of Chosen with sponsored flights. Thank you PAV, and thank you to all who support all volunteers.

  3. Morning! Just putting my 50 pence worth in here!

I serve in Ukraine and have done since the start of the war. I’m lucky being from the UK 🇬🇧 as it’s relatively cheap for me to get backwards and forwards. But for volunteers from places further away like Australia 🇦🇺 New Zealand 🇳🇿 Canada 🇨🇦 and the US 🇺🇸 that isn’t always a possibility without help with flight donations.
Some of the best soldiers I’ve met here have been from those countries. Most of whom have had some form of support in getting over here. It pains me to think how many game changing people we may have missed out on because they either didn’t know about the help they could receive or the help just simply wasn’t available to them.

I’ve said it many times before and I’ll say it a thousand times again. The generosity and pure kindness of the people who donate to the good cause never fails to baffle me. Whether it’s medical supplies, clothing, optics, or anything else used on the battlefield. The thing we need most is guys over here who can use all that stuff to give unrelenting hell to the orcs! 🇺🇦
