1. If this wasn’t on an aircraft and instead in a shop they wouldn’t have bothered to even turn up nevermind prosecute. Not that I’m saying the sentence he got was wrong.

6. I’m confused we’re told jails are full but we can imprison someone for 5 months.

7. Everyone walks around with a video camera in their pocket these days, so we get to see an endless stream of videos featuring our fellow citizens acting appallingly.

   From smashing up fast food joints to looting corner shops, the freakout videos I find the worst are the ones of people acting like cunts on planes.

   Not just for the safety issue, but just the sheer arrogance and entitlement of it. You’re trapped in a high pressurised metal tube with 200 other people, how dare they act the cunt and disturb/frighten/delay those other passengers.

   I’m not always perfect, but I try to be mindful of other people, and I absolutely hate the idea of putting someone else out at my expense. If I had some kind of tantrum and distressed 200 other people on a plane I would hate myself forever. And these fuckers don’t even feel a little bit bad about it.

   Shit human beings exist, of course, I’ve always known that. But having to see so many videos showing examples of humanity’s worst members can’t be having a good effect on anyone’s psyche.
