1. Surely the US sees the need to prevent Russia sweeping into Europe again, I’m sure the first time they’d have nuked them at dresden if it was ready.

   This time at least send some air defence?

   When Germany declines things such as taurus missiles they should think of their history when Russians entered Germany, the mass rapes of civilians, the brutality,

   Russia risks sweeping over parts of eastern Ukraine now, how must those civilians feel, well Germany has many refugees, they know how they feel, terror at the prospect.

   Russia isn’t going to change under a putin government, Ukraine needs weapons to defend themselves now.

3. According to the article Zelensky says that Scholz cannot afford to leave Germany with 500 Taurus instead of 600 Taurus. Because Germany is not a nuclear power and the Taurus System is Germanys most potent weapon.

   If Scholz somehow told Zelensky that then he is full of bullshit.

   Germany has around 600 Taurus. 150 are ready right away. The rest needs to be prepared.

   Ukraine need 100 Taurus or so to both destroy the Kerch Bridge and some bonus shot. I am no expert but I guess 20 – 30 hits will kill the bridge for month.

   IF Scholz ever said that Germany need those Taurus in order to deter Russia then Scholz is bullshitting him.

   I am german myself and every week Germany changes the explanation on why we cannot deliver 50 or 100 Taurus. And we had the time to get 200 more ready.

   As if Russia would not attack Germany – a NATO country – because it has 600 Taurus. But if Germany only had 500 Taurus Russia would attack.

   This is beyond belief.

   Biden and Scholz are tools. The US and Germany are afraid of escalation. Unless something good and big happens very soon Biden and Scholz will go down in history as idiots. I will do my part for it.
