Even if no humans start any fires, there will still be lightning strikes. It’s how many of our fires are started in the PNW and we lose hundreds of thousands of acres a year to the red destroyer. Usually the remote ones that are hard for firefighters to reach. But humans will start fires too.
I hope I’m wrong.
It’ll only take 18 more years like last year to decimate 100% of Canada’s forests. I’ve seen nobody else say this but the facts are right in front of their faces. I don’t want to live in a Canada without forests. Our situation is scary and sad.
