  1. Should it be a change in the rules to make this a ban, sure. I would welcome a stamping out of simulation with VAR having the power to unilaterally book players for it from above, or give post match yellows.

But it’s not in the rules, so ‘fans’ can do one lol. In fact, You see this 100x a season because every now and then, refs reward it and never punish it.

In fact, I hope he does it again in our next game too.

  2. Long ban? Please. It’s a yellow card for simulation at worst, but in reality, it’s absolutely nothing. Players have been pulling this stunt ever since hands to the throat was deemed a red card offense. Nowadays, it’s just plain useless to do it since VAR will check for violent conduct anyway. Pointless article for an equally pointless gripe.

  3. It was straight up ridiculous, and knowing White, completely a wind-up. Worked a treat

  4. Fans? Like one person tweeted something and I’m guessing that counts as “fans”?

  5. If you ban Bruno Fernandez for his antics first.

    🤣🤣

  6. Whole of twitter is talking about arsenal and their cheating. Ben White and Gabriel and their play acting, Saka and his diving, Odergaard and his constant moaning to the ref. Odergaard and Gabriel playing basketball in the penalty area. Constantly tactical fouls all over but not getting any cards. Huge cheats, the whole club. They deserve bans and probably points deduction too.

  7. Lol you can demand all you want but you’re getting fuck all

  8. Remember, people like Coldplay and voted for the Nazis. You can’t trust people, Jeremy.

  9. By fans they mean the 2 ‘fans’ they quoted off twitter, one of whom didn’t even say it should be a ban?

Meanwhile, comments queuing up here from some rival fans who’ve been baited by a headline only showing how triggered they are by the Arsenal.

    Lol, lmao even

  10. They should start reffing games based on the public opinion on twitter.

  11. If fans got what they wanted then there’d be no player left on the field for any games.
