Doubt it works like this, you need to call in but still need a valid paper from your doctor.
In Romania it was illegal until 2000 to be gay or anything else, simply by hitting on someone your same sex you could face some good jail time, in 2024 we’ll be voting for a party to reinstate that law.
While it wasn’t illegal per se, Sweden still practiced Eugenics until 2013 by requiring trans people be sterilised. If only they’d done slightly better on that too
