  1. But then the gas will be 1 cent more expensive at the pump and we cant have that, can we? /s

  2. Yeah something is seriously wrong with the Biden administration. Still better than having Orange Man in the oval office, but it’s just sad.

  3. Lets be honest, that was 100% different. In WWII it had no impact on other allied economies. I am all for Ukraine burning down all of Russia but pushing easily proving ridiculous reasons will not help.

  4. Instead we are taking about the effect on global oil price if Ukraine targets Russian oil infrastructure

  5. In WW2, USA politics wasn’t taken over by the Nazi’s. That’s the difference.

  6. I think we should be bombing oil infrastructure.  However, Allies also bombed cities as high priority military targets.  That doesn’t make it right.

  7. Wouldn’t it be better strategically to target russian ammo dumps and logistical centres

  8. Did people here finally ceased posting and upvoting how America being unhappy by Ukrainian strikes is “fake news / debunked”, or “just diplomatic speak”?

It was one of the most stupid trends here I remember. Along with the likes of the reaction to the early reporting about Zalzuhny being fired.

  9. in iraq, the US took out energy and communication infrastructure before they started going after air defense.

but according to whatsherface ukraine should be held to the highest possible moral standard that the US itself does not adhere to in matters of war. it is an utter and complete disconnect with the reality as it is to even formulate that statement.

  10. To be fair you people need to understand something.

    **TLDR**:

We have a lot of indicators we are long overdue for a recession. A recession will probabbly happen after the election. Biden is probably trying to postpone it because if a recession hits Trump is defenetly getting elected even if it’s not Bidens fault. The one thing that poped the bubble and started most and I do mean most recessions in the past is…. Oil prices going up!

We are acording to a lot of indicators long overdue for a recession. I predict we wil enter a global recession the likes of 2008 in a year after the election is over and then the recession is the next presidents problem.
I feel like the current goverment is tying everything they can to postopone a stock market crash and start panic and a recession BEFORE the election. Because if we enter a recession now! Then you can 100% forget about Biden being re elected. You can bet your ass most people who don’t know better will wave the reccesion off as being “Bidens fault” although it’s everyones fault for the last decade of excessive money pritning and stock hyping. Recessions are something that needs to happen in a capitalistic society every so often to correct the over estimation of human greed and error.
So if we have a recession now Trump = elected.

If you look it up a bit you will se that we have sooo manny signs that we are hella overdue for a correction / “recession” the only thing that seems to be missing is a catalist shock that will burst the bubble. And what thing started off stock crashes and recessions in the last 8/10 times we had a recession? You guessed it! Raising oil prices.. Oil prices are the one thing that was able to pop most inflated bubbles amd start recessions. That’s probbably why they don’t want Ukraine completly destoryimg Russias oil production. The reason the Biden administration dosen’t talk about this is because the other thing that starts recessions is panic and fear of a recession. (Also it dosen’t help his re-election ambitions if he admits the economy is heading for a recession.. Even if it’s not his fault.. GOD I LOVE CURRENT MODERN DAY DEMOCRACY…)
I am not saying that that means we shouldn’t bomb Russia and all that but I am trying to explain to who ever wants to listen that the sitiation that Biden is in is not as simple as it might seem at first. It’s not purely some conspiracy that “uugh oil go down rich people loose money”

  11. They also bombed huge civilian cities with no military targets whatsoever in them- no probs

  12. Better yet, the Allies bombed anything that was related to war production. Logistics are how wars can be win or lost.
