  6. We are in the early days of a war that is not yet born. We are by no means in the middle of one. This title belittles what a world war is really about.

    About twice a century, say every 3rd generation, enough anger builds up in the world to a point where a world war with multiple fronts breaks out.

    We are now choosing sides for a fight. Europe, The Middle East, Asia. Everybody.

    The only real question at this time is who is going to throw the first punch?

    The main prerequisites for such WW3, probably:

    1. Budapest Memorandum fraud (contradiction between long-term ideological desires so that there would be less WMD, and short-term Political Realism desires for more opportunistic profits via use of International Law violations).
    2. And 2008-2021 years Western pacification policies (too strong hopes for Information Age, postmodernism, globalization, without understanding that part of resources that the West gave to autocratic regimes was spent on their distortion. As it was with 1920-1930s soviet industrialization/militarization).

    2014 year and 2021 year ultimatum (Russian official claim on Western Europe) – Sarajevo assassination analogues.

    2022-2024 years – something between of Neville Chamberlain’s “Peace of our time” and Phoney War period. Time when was created main reason for WW3 – Russia-USA confirmation of “WMD-Might make Right/True = WMD-countries cannot lose” logics.

    The real war most likely will begin not from some critical event, explosion, but by continuation of International Law discredit, implosion, and then instant phase transition – partial return to pre-Cold War norms. Because mix of modern postmodernism and utilitarian RealPolitik will allows to evil not try to pretend to be good, but just call itself “an alternative good”, or even just outright ignore its existence as old fairy tales.

    Sides will be divided essentially by level of education and quality of culture/ethics/social traditions (Freedom of Speech * time).

    On more pro-imperialistic, pro-clerical, pro-feudal/slavery, short term goals, zero-sum-games actors. And on more pro-French Revolution heritage, middle term goals, non-zero-sum actors.

  25. As an American, he’s right about what he’s calling the “Munich Spirit.” I’m glad to have this framework and language and history for it.

    I’ll add that the people supporting Trump on the state level make a lot of money by pushing constant Christian nationalist fears to prevent war by promising to avoid it. They generally equate this hysteria with ideology about the Rapture.

If you ask yourself or me “why the hell should russia attack Poland or Moldova or another country if their done with Ukraine” than there is only one answer “its because they can” and they will do it politically, economical and by other methods so i agree that its the same like with Hitler you dont take it serious whats going on
