Member of the European Parliament Guy Verhofstadt with a very strong appeal to European countries to supply Patriot systems and stop acting so passively towards Ukraine. He proposed to remove the approval of the European Council budget from the agenda until member states can find the seven Patriot systems.

Kudos to whomever has cast a vote for these people in the past.
The new budget was approved last year. This is a decision to postpone the discharge of the old budget. That won’t harm the EU so it’s not like it will force countries to act quickly.
