Italian church, 200 years building it. Swedish, 9 month, and repurpose as a youth center.
Duomo di Milano doesn’t count cause it still isn’t finished
Since 95% of the budget are used to build Mosques, you’ve done good enough, Mohammad don’t force youself
I mean it does make sense Christianity is just another middle eastern abrahamic religion that doesn’t belong to europe so why build elaborate structures if there presence here is, hopefully, temporary.
Yeah catholic architecture is a big W
I will never forgive the Nords for popularizing that awful modern style of architecture that’s raping every country on the planet now.
You haven’t seen ugly churches until you’ve seen Finnish churches.
At least every priest can assemble it self in one evening
In all fairness, Luigi started using stone for buildings a couple of millenia before you, Olaf. Give it another 1900 years and you’ll be sticking tacky crap on your buildings too.
My church sadly looks even worse, looks like military barracks. At least the people are amazing but it wouldn’t hurt with some beautiful architecture.

Those bloody Lutherans, should we have ousted the Pope for this?
Concrete turd vs Anor Londo.
That said, it did take 100+ years to build the duomo, nowadays even 10 years is apparently “too long” to build a nuclear power plant.

Protestantism: Not even once
I present you the most elegant church in Finland. It’s very efficient, and it’s easy to transform it into paper mill when required:

Brutalist architecture and its consequences
well duh, you have to compare it with their mosques
