Betws-y-Coed is a really good place to visit in Wales.
Cornwall!
Northern ireland
Did you go to Skegness??
Devon! Lovely down here. Cornwall is just worse, more expensive Devon.
Go down to Dawlish and explore the coast.
Islands of Scotland
Edit: also the N. Wales mountains
I’m just chuffed you’ve been to Lincoln tbh. How was it?
You seem to like the Peaks so the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District would be worth a visit.
Also look at the West coast of Scotland. Oban is a good place to go and you can get a ferry out to some of the islands not far from there. Mull and Iona are favourites of mine.
Norwich and the North Norfolk coast are nice. As is Cornwall.
Rye is really nice, especially if you go during the Scallop Festival in February. Portsmouth is pretty fun if you’re interested at all in naval history. There’s great food in Portsmouth, too, and lots of cool little shops — especially Pie & Vinyl, which does in fact sell pies and vinyl records.
Proper Highlands (North Coast is divine).
Northern Ireland. Just generally more mainland Brits should visit Northern Ireland.
If you liked Oxford you’ll like Cambridge – it’s similar but greener and flatter. Then go out to the Broads.
edit: I completely forgot Tenby. Bloody lovely place.
Cambridge (& IWM Duxford while you’re there), Norwich, Norfolk broads, North Norfolk Coast, Aldeburgh (& Sutton Hoo)
South coast!! Go to Brighton and look away from the sea, turn left and go along
Are you allergic to the south coast?!
Cotswolds
North Cornwall and north Devon!
The Gower Peninsula, South Wales. Beautiful but the weather can be very wet!
Isle of Skye!
Cornwall and Brighton!
Isle of Skye for the nature
Brighton for a cool place to go
Oh, and of course Swindon, to experience the Magic Roundabout
You haven’t touched the South Coast!
It’s gorgeous from Kent to Cornwall.
the gower Swansea
If you are going to North Wales visit Port Merrion. It’s like The Amalfi coast but wet and cold!
Canterbury
Faversham
Rye
Cuckfield
Shitterton
Bell-End
Netherwallop
Damp bottom
Cockermouth
Twatt
Wetwang
Fingerhoe
Bitchfield
Sandy balls
Isle of Skye!
Have you been to Durham? Go by train- you get an amazing view of the city. My home town so biased but still…
