Senior leadership of the SAS are constantly looking for potential uses of the regiment and if possible get their soldiers learning and involved in fighting potential adversaries.
A mate of mine was in the Senior leadership of the Australian SAS which is how I know. They never want to be surprised and they will always go to where the fight is so they can no know how to fight and win against every adversary.
They would have been in ukraine before the invasion in 2022.
I promise you, US tier-one operators are there as well.
When shit like that pops off, everyone wants into the game. And NATO and its allies aren’t sitting idly by.
