  1. Any talk of reconciliation in this island is hypocritical and partisan if it does not demand of the British state and the political, paramilitary and sectarian arms of unionism exactly what it demands of Provoism (including variants) and SF. Every FFG attack on SF must include attacks of the same tone and frequency on the unionist agencies as those on Provoism. Without them we see partisanship and the old national mindset of servility.

  2. Colour me surprised.

The first car bombing in Ireland was in Dublin in 1972, using explosives given to Loyalist terrorists by English army officers, in order to incite the situation.

  3. Both sides as in Republican and Unionist. Clearly the Unionists would have the support of the people in Westminster

  4. What really gets me about loyalists/unionists is their hypocrisy. They have always claimed to be innocent victims of bloodthirsty taigs, while up to their eyeballs in terrorism, sectarian murder, gunrunning, and open defiance of Britain when it didn’t give them everything they demanded. With “loyalists” like those, who needs traitors. [More info](https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jun/27/troubled-past-the-paramilitary-connection-that-still-haunts-the-dup)

  5. I am absolutely shocked by this! I’m pretty sure that the troubles were started by the minority persecuted Catholic population in 1969?
