  12. I hope this is a wake-up call to all the appeasers out there that pearl clutch anytime we barely hold hostile regimes accountable. These nations respect force. Weakness buys no favors to people who seek to destroy you and what you stand for.

    If you aren’t prepared to do the worst (while still aiming for the best), you aren’t going to have good outcomes. That is why everyone has been clowning on the US recently. We’ve become one step above “China warns” type of responses for nearly every confrontation. Completely risk averse and unwilling to hold responsible parties accountable. And it shows in our deteriorating security environment.

    Iran: uses its spies around the world to target Israeli embassies and Jewish civilians.

    Israel: kills the Iranian general who planned October 7th.

    Iran: “this is an unprecedented escalation of violence from Israel!!!!”

  22. There are two likely reasons

    1) the US told them that the attack better not be significant, otherwise wherever the attack originates from will get a full week of Tier 1 bombing. So Hizbollah told them to fuck off, so did the Houthis and Iraqi militias.

    2) they really don’t have anything that can hurt Israel directly without launching from their own territory and Israel told them they would strike the Iranian homeland of they did that

    So what you will get is an IED, maybe a drone or two launched from Syria
