  1. Yep, it used to be one of my favorite channels to watch, now I don’t think there’s a single show I can stomach on there anymore.

  2. Guy Fieri destroyed the Food Network. It’s nothing but junk food and game shows now.

  3. wait until she finds out about the learning channel and the history channel.

  4. How dare she? Peak entertainment is watching chefs try and make meals out of pig dick popsicles on Chopped!!!

  5. She’s right. It’s all reality tv shit now. We have been sold the big lie.
AMC barely plays movies that are classics. Bravo is shit reality oggling rich people.
    History channel barely shows history…
    Hollywood is bankrupt with ideas.

Edit: ironically I am watching The Perfect Storm on AMC. Not a bad movie, but it’s on constant recycle with disaster movies on this channel.

  6. Bring back Cutthroat Kitchen and have like ONE show that actually caters to learning how to cook/casual weeknight recipes type stuff. Actually educational

  7. If she couldn’t see the writing on the wall when she first joined the network, she wasn’t paying attention. Competition shows are cheap and easy to produce and people watch them at a level that justifies their cost. I hate it but that’s the way it is. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  8. Competition shows on FoodNetwork & HGTV have gotten reductive & silly.

  9. She was great with the kids. Was sweet but still gave constructive feedback in a way that didn’t destroy their confidence. She will be missed as a judge.

  10. I had a friend who was a makeup artist and worked with Valerie for a day on a talk show. She said Valerie was extremely kind and welcoming to everyone on set.
