  12. China is watching the US intransigence on aiding Ukraine and believes this is not just Ukraine but support for allies in general. China and Russia are willing to place bets that the work they have been undertaking for decades to undermine democracy in America are paying dividends.

  17. Unfortunately the support for Ukraine 🇺🇦 has been demonstrated to be clad with some dried mud. So when it comes to military support, I don’t know how anyone can take the US at their word any more.

  18. As long as campaign donations continues American politicians will betray the interests of their allies and constituents. Russian influence has been a resounding success, other authoritarian regimes will ramp up their efforts. It’s only gonna get worse.

    Once strong, but now rapidly a useless thing of a bygone era.

    With the politics in the US being what they are and any support for allies liable to be blocked by easily bought politicians in congress and there always being a chance of a new president getting elected who will support the other side, the US is not the reliable partner it once was.
