  1. I also think people don’t realise that eating locally/organic is actually pretty much just as bad for the environment, transporting animal feed across the world doesn’t produce nearly as much emissions as people would think.

    Basically if you want to reduce your climate footprint while reducing needless suffering, don’t eat animal produce.

  2. Its an inevitable consequence of international agri-business which can put a chicken on your table cheaper per kilo that the Aunt Bessie roasties to go with it. Tackling it without putting up prices is going to be tricky to say the least, and putting up prices is something we are not ready to talk about yet.

  3. Good thing there’s absolutely no necessity for animal agriculture to exist for the vast majority of us living in highly developed nations, otherwise this would be a seriously difficult problem to solve.
