  1. > He was also banned from approaching or sitting opposite, touching or communicating with lone women on public transport for the next five years.

How exactly is this to be enforced?

  2. I didn’t know the state could do this.

    If so, beware future legislation.

EDIT: Looks like a certain set of people, no need to mention who they are, are downvoting the comment and are thrilled at this prospect.

EDIT2: The person in question is probably a creep. But ultimately the question is what the state is able to do, both when justifiable and not justifiable. To be exact: I didn’t know you could actually be sentenced to stay away from all members of the opposite sex in such a blanket way.

EDIT3: Maybe read the full comment before jumping to silly accusations. The state enforces the court rulings.

EDIT4: Anyway, until the state bans it, I will enjoy talking to whoever I please. That group of people has no power over me and shouldn’t.

  3. Why the fuck is he doing the Zoolander stare in his mugshot?

  4. Ah yes the tough sentence of something which can’t possibly be enforced.

  5. 7 months for aggressive behaviour + sexual assault. Another brilliant outcome from the justice system. No way he’d dare do anything after that £300 fine

  6. Oh come on, how is that a fair punishment?

    …ban him from approaching anyone.

  7. Is he the only one in the country allowed to assume someone’s gender?

  8. If he’s such a fucking risk to all women, all the time then why is he allowed to walk the streets??

  9. The guy needs help, but…

7 months in the slammer? We are paying for this? WTF?
