  29. I think it is time for a peace deal. The lines are stagnant and Ukrainian lives and infrastructure are just getting destroyed for nothing. It is a long shot for Ukraine to get back the territories that Russia stole. Even if Ukraine did the amount on money needed to rebuild those territories is massive. In the end it is up for the Ukrainian people to say when they have had enough.

  31. Putin isn’t wrong in the sense that a peace conference that doesn’t involve Russia isn’t likely to accomplish much. The Swiss should be organizing a conference on providing military assistance to Ukraine, given that force is the only language Putin understands.

  37. NATO is going to war with Russia in about a year. You can blame the Republicans for that. We will be in Moscow by December. If we are lucky we will have Putin in front of an international tribunal by January.

    The only way we can avoid a direct war with Russia is the Ukraine get the funding they need defend themselves and win.

  41. I’m pretty sure he will accept an enforced peace plan that involves NATO troops wiping out every Russian within Ukraine’s 1991 borders. Given it won’t be up to him to accept, only to acknowledge the mass graves and mass destroyed equipment.
