That dude has a deathwish. No other explanation for it.
I had an interesting experience going up a steep hill that was completely covered in ice with no grit on my way home from work today. Definitely not looking forward to going down it in the morning. I could never ride a bike with the roads being in this condition…
Haha I do the same I only fall like once or twice a day. This guy is wearing a helmet what a pussy
I don’t like walking on ice much less riding a bicycle on it.
the entire city looks like this and it’s driving me.nuts
My colleague tried this in December when weather was the same. No spikes on bike. Result – trashed collar bone, implant, will have a couple more month of physio… Fortunately, he had a helmet, which literally saved his life.
Mother nature really tryna kill us with these kinds of roads * – *
Yeah, spikes on those tires and you’ll have a better grip than with shoes. Because less surface area with more weight on it so it grips very well. Granted that some slush on that ice and you’ll need to be careful. Still havent fell this winter though. “knocking on wood”.
That time of the year when I start having the fear of skidding car or me slipping in front of a driving car.
Pääkallokeli = skull weather
Will it be cleaned somehow? Or it’s just for bicycles, not pedestrians?

Seems like a lot of folks are unfamiliar with spikes. Personally I don’t ride bikes in winter but I find a decent set of [microspikes](https://www.xxl.fi/snowline-snowline-spikes-irtonastat-punainen/p/1077898_4_style) makes walking in any ice conditions feel like walking on gravel.
