Yet there is no reason why he should have had the numbers for those in other parties who were not contacted via Grindr, and they generally say they have never interacted with him.

   Then he needs to fess up on what that person has on him, why he had those numbers, and how he got them.

   Shit’s really not hard.

2. Lamest ‘honey trap’ tale ever. Back in the good old days, this dude would have actually hooked up with a real human being, done the deed, Donne the pillow-talk thing, been approached by Soviet intelligence and got into a transactional relationship with them.

   Like a full-grown adult, not via a hook-up app.

3. You have to wonder how stupid someone is. If I look in my dms now I will guarantee there’s half a dozen hot young ladies wanting to chat. As this doesn’t happen in real life, surely I have to imagine it’s not legit. You must be the most arrogant douche to assume you are irresistible and there’s nothing to worry about here…

   Amazed he’s still not resigned as an mp. It’s potentially treason
