  1. he had a couple of bad games in the champions league, but he’s been quality in the prem. the problem lies in our team not being able to defend cutbacks and setpieces

  2. He’s a fine keeper. Granted they’ve had injuries at the back, but this many shots conceded is obviously not a player issue.

    He’s not a bad keeper and good with his feet, just the narrative changes depending on if you focus on mistakes or his saves.

    Actually similar for a lot of other players, people’s perception of them get warped when a bandwagon gets going about them being crap at something.
