So this Thursday, the management people in this housing set up this sitting areas right in front of my room, people are making loud noise during the night talking eating BBQing, which has made my environment a living hell!
No one ever asks for our opinions about this area! (As you can see there are people living in the ground floor who are being affected in a more direct way!)
I have talked to the so-called manager, complaining about this area, and he refused to remove them and tell me to call the police myself! Another shit show for sure! Why the hell do you create problems for the residents while you are incapable of managing the situation?!
Anyway, do you have any idea where we can make a formal complaint to the authorities regarding this area?
Any suggestion is appreciated! Thanks 🙏

If they’re being excessively loud at night, call the Ordnungsamt (**after** asking your neighbours to tone it down a little first). The use of the common area during normal times is totally normal and fine and you must either learn to live with it or find a new place to live in. Maybe just “rezoning” your flat so that the noise doesn’t bother you as much will do the trick?
You can with the local police station or Ordnungsamt.
Note that a single incident will only lead to a warning and nothing more. If you want to escalate this beyond a warning write a noise protocol with exact times of when there are loud noises and if possible who is causing it.
You propably won’t be able to force anyone to remove the tables, but if the loud sounds past Ruhezeit becomes to common you may be entitled to pay less rent until your landlord fixes the issue.
Do nor waste 110s time with this. Call the Ordnungsamt ONLY if they are being very loud after 22:00 and after you have asked them to tone it down
Might be worth looking into reducing the rent you pay due to the fact, that you are unable to use the rented apartment normally. Would not do that without involving a laywer though, as it can backfire when you just withhold (part of the) rent without a legally valid reason. This could introduce some pressure to have the situation resolved faster.
The other people here are cooked, if they’re loud after 22 and they won’t tone down call the police, fuck them.
I’m not even sure if you can make noise complaints from prison
Did you talk to the people after 22h? What did they say?
The first step is to ask them to be quiet. You should be nice about it, at least to start. They may well just stop. Only after they refuse a direct request do you go to some authority.
