  1. Text from the tweet:

*I had an important and productive call with* [](https://twitter.com/Bundeskanzler) *Olaf Scholz.*

*I am grateful to the Chancellor for the decision to deliver an additional Patriot air defense system to Ukraine, as well as air defense missiles for existing systems.*

*Thank you, Olaf, for your leadership. This is a genuine show of support for Ukraine in a critical moment.*

*I urge all other partner country leaders to follow suit.*

*We also discussed the upcoming Ukraine Recovery Conference* [*#URC2024*](https://twitter.com/hashtag/URC2024?src=hashtag_click) *in Berlin.*

*I also briefed the Chancellor on the preparations for the inaugural Peace Summit in Switzerland in June. I am grateful to the Chancellor for his willingness to make the summit a great success.*

  2. After months of begging and paying in blood and tears, Germany will give ONE.

EU has none left and US won’t give any from its vast stock.

Is the west REALLY serious about preventing WW3?

    COMMON, stop farking around.

“WW3 won’t happen if Russia wins.” — stupid critics.

Wanna bet your children’s future on it?

  3. This is welcome, but Ukraine cannot survive like this

The west must commit to long term scheduled periodic delivery of weapons, not sporadic occasional last second transfers.

  4. Please help Ukraine to hold out until the toilet in American be flushed and Republican party disposed of accordingly

  5. This information should come only after the systems are in Ukraine. But it’s good news keep em coming

  6. That are good news. I hope Scholz will grow some balls and support the Ukraine more. And hopefully USA will restart their support soon. They have 100 Patriot systems in stock. Slava Ukraini!

  7. One more patriot system. Nice. That should stop the war.

  8. Maybe we’ll see a bit less talk of Germany not doing enough from now on. What we need now is a new EU program that guarantees enough financing for all the stuff that needs to be bought from all over the world. Ideally together with the US, but in the worst case the EU must go solo. The US will probably at least sell arms to EU countries even if they won’t participate otherwise.
