what this image does not convey is the burnt stench. looks like this was a pine forest, and they generally smell great. i think most people haven’t experienced a burnt forest – the stench is a moodkiller, even weeks after the fire.
And its spring. Fucking orcish occupiers
Before the invasion it was a kind of a wildlife sanctuary.
To use an oxymoron “Beautifully horrific” comes to mind….
I’ve been on fires that look a lot like that after. It’s hard to count just how much artillery and other explosives were needed to make it look like that.
